The 1st quarter safety meeting was held at our Cameron shore base location on April 24, 2019. We had our Cameron shore base crew in attendance as well as some EPS dispatchers that work for some of our customers at our Cameron facility. Topics of discussion included:
- 10 Seconds to Safety / POINT card data presented by Jamie Wise
- JSAs presented by Benny Wiltz
- Truck Drivers’ PPE and Box Truck Drivers staying in box presented by Corey Doucet
- Policy enforcement on visitors presented by Brad Derouen
Q1 POINT Card of the Quarter Award
The POINT Card of the Quarter Award was presented to Gregory Wolfe.
Gregory was offloading a 550 tote when he noticed that the ring on top of the tote was bent up and not sealed as it should be. Gregory used his Stop Work Authority and got the dispatcher involved in order to get the tote repaired before moving forward.
It is this type of attention to detail that makes EPS Logistics the logistics provider of choice for many operators. Keep up the good work, Gregory!
