The switchboard is the navigation point for the database, able to access all areas for data entry.
The staging area is the place where all that arrives for shipment is entered, cargo can be entered upon arrival and multiple locations can be entered on the same form. This is where the database begins to build data.
Occasionally, hazardous items are shipped to the base and a hazardous shipping Bill of Lading must be created to accompany shipments to the rig or back to the vendor. If a hazardous item is not in the list, it will need to be added by selecting the “Go to Haz-mat Entry to add new Hazmat Item”, enter the hazardous information in accordance to the MSDS.
The Cargo manifest is a shipping document used to accompany cargo to location.
Bill of Lading
Bill of Ladings are shipping documents used to accompany cargo back to vendor locations.
The Process Center is the area where all rental items are stored, if there are multiple locations, all locations will be in this databank
The Vessel Charter sheet is used to aid in billing and end of charter release for fuel and water reconciliation.
The Bit Record
The bit record will generate from the information in the staging area. Bits can be accessed by location and reports printed.
The trucking report is used to track transportation cost as well as a reference for truck ordering for returning equipment.
Fuel Receiving and Consumption Reporting
The Fuel Log databank stores data on fuel received for vessels along with the price for that day the fuel was received. All applicable fields need populating for healthy data retrieval. Daily fuel consumption is tracked per vessel per day in this databank, the fuel usage is for a 24 hour period and is collected at midnight.
The Waste Log is used to track waste from location which is now becoming integral part for reporting.
Daily Drilling Reports
Daily Drilling Report (DDR) is a way to capture cost on a daily basis to aid in tracking rig cost.
